I am a SH of my company. Not big but it has more revenue and profits than many listed company in SGX. Company is debt free, profitable and has enough free cash. Many people asked why not get the company listed? My reasons to stay as it is: We don't need more capital. We don't want people to share our profit. We are not prepare to work more and harder. We are not willing to answer to other new SH. But If I have bad intention, one of the tools is IPO. I think it is quite easy or not too difficult to become a lot richer by getting the company public listed. I am not suggesting that all IPO company is bad or having bad intention. As each has different needs and requirements. But the article shared by Bro Zuolun certainly ring a bell !
