It is surprising that Gold has not risen as much as one would have expected given the US debt ceiling issue. Gold is currently at US$1,283. I think this is because most of us assume that the US will sort out the issue at the last minute. If so, I will not be surprised that Gold falls below the US$1,200 in the weeks ahead.
