I have just added some codes to enable the Karma System. If you like a posting, why not give a karma to the person who posted. It is like saying thank you for the posting. If you dislike the posting, you may want to take away one of his karma. You can give or take away karmas every hour if you wish. The karma system can be seen in the mini profiles next to each posting. Sample attached. Definition of karma : The Buddhist belief that whatever you do comes back to you, e.g. if you do something good, something good will happen to you, and vice versa. Attachments:

What I forgot to mention is that you can give karma to the same person as many times as is allowed by the system. I think one can give Karma every 15 minutes....

Hi oldman, think just a kind gesture of allotting karma Once is good enough, else I might "flood" your karma profile. Just joking.
More importantly, receiving "LIKE" from fellow forumers is a positive affirmation for the efforts spent gathering information & squeezing "brain juice" to draft the posting.

Candy188, I fully agree with you. I too rather "like" the postings that I like rather than give Karma too often.

Hi oldman, pardon my frankness, I think to "take away" the karma of others is a non-virtuous act that is almost equivalent to stealing. Perhaps just click the dislike button will be representative of your disapproval of the posting, which is evidenced in one unpleasant posting earlier. pertama.freeforums.net/post/324I have just added some codes to enable the Karma System. Agreed.
Initially, I removed the Take karma link but I then realised that if someone were to have accidentally click on the Give Karma link, he will not be able to remove the Karma that he accidentally gave. Hence, I put it back. Let's monitor and see how it goes. Thanks.
