Psolhawk, my goodness. We do think alike. I think that management is after capital gains so I will not be surprised that at the right price, they will sell both the Tune Hotel JV as well as the HDD business. I also think that Euc8 will not take that long to turn around. Yes, patience is still required..... and of course, trust in management. Good morning Oldman. Is TYKC a subsidiary of Plato Capital? I used to be in HDD business for many years and did not know of such HDD manufacturer. The global HDD industry is dominated by only 3 players. No small players can survive. Even Samsung and IBM has given out. Do you know what TYKC really do in HDD business? I think it is not a HDD manufacturer but a service provider or consumable-supplier to HDD industry.

Am not surprised that they sold Wisma Char Yong and booked the profit. Guess the KL office market must be pretty soft as it did take them a longer time to sell.... Now, one can understand why they wrote down the value of Wisma Char Yong by $4.65 mil in the last financial statement. My feeling is that the outstanding lease commitments on the property weighed heavily on its valuation especially in a weak office property market. infopub.sgx.com/FileOpen/Plato-Sale_of_PSH.ashx?App=Announcement&FileID=341950

Great news that Wisma CharYong is sold. At least it has been a profitable exercise. Dublin is next. Hope to hear positive news within this year.

This coy continues to disappoint. I guess I over rated Lim Kian Oon and thought that he had the ability to build and transform companies. Looks like I will be holding on to this baby for a lot longer. Herein lies the risk of putting money in a proven entrepreneur and he does not deliver results.

Hi Oldman I guess is the overall economic environment that is not doing very well that has contributed to the company's loss-making. I feel many companies are not doing well lately, i read the reporting season, not that I am good in reading accounting figures, in actual fact, i only know how to see profit & loss only from the statement, haha.. I am just guessing and learning, you know by now I always ask silly questions and kind bro Zuolun will not fail to enlighten me and entertain some of my stupid question sometimes. Very grateful to him. Abit emo this few days, maybe due to ghost month ba... Keep safe and have a good weekend.

Tune Hotels were turning in a profit actually. TYK was dragging the bottomline. I do believe if TYK plays its role and remain profitable, the end result will be better.
