As an investor, I keep myself updated by reading very widely. I also have a love for life and enjoy reading about almost anything. One of my favourite sites is none other than the e-resource section of our National Library website. Do log in using your Singapore NRIC and you will be greeted with so many magazines and newspapers that selecting your reading material becomes even more important as the choice is simply marvelous. You can see magazines and newspapers from all around the world. The Singapore selection is also very good. eresources.nlb.gov.sg/index.aspx

I find that the National Library eBook is good. I can read it on the go with my iPad.
Better still, don't have to worry return the book late (kena fine) as the eBook automatically expire after 21 days. Of course you can 'return' the eBook early before 12 days.

I was pointed to this recent review on my book and I agree with the reviewer's critique. The first edition was a rush to consolidate my postings in ShareInvestor.com and an editor was appointed to put these articles together. Within a year, I was told that all the books were sold out and they wanted to reprint. However, after reading the first edition, I was a bit embarrassed by the repetition of some of the paragraphs. Hence, I took it on myself to rewrite and re-edit most of the chapters. However, I was given a deadline of 4 weeks to complete this and hence, I too had to rush out the second edition. It is my hope that one day, I will be able to identify a financial journalist who can then take the latest postings that I have made in this website as well as future articles and then take his time to write a completely new investment book that will be made into an ebook and offered at a very low price so that everyone can have the chance to read this. Yes, this is one of my to-do items as I really want this book to show our young how to be a better investor than I ever was. This will probably be my last book on investing and I want this to be a classic. The words should flow much better as a seasoned journalist will edit the text while I share as openly as I can about everything I know about money and the stock market. financialbookwormer.blogspot.sg/2014/04/your-first-million-making-it-in-stocks.html

Hi Oldman, Read your comment on FB, " I have not succeeded in getting my kids to read my investment book as I really want them to learn from my experience in life." Perhaps an illustrated financial book will be useful in encouraging your kids to learn the rope from their successful dad.
