This video will make you think twice the next time you see a child alone How would you react, if one day, your children vanished the moment you take your eyes off them?
That was what over 4,804 families went through in Malaysia in 2012. Sadly, child abduction is not so uncommon in the country. It is heartbreaking to see missing children posters on signboards, trees, petrol stations, and even on ATM machines, as a desperate effort to get their child back.
The figures of cases did not seem to retract this year, and worst of it all, it seems that child kidnappers in Malaysia are actually getting bolder. This is when ad agency TBWA Kuala Lumpur decided to produce this award winning 2-minutes video message directed to all Malaysians, on behalf of Kidproof SEA. Watch what happens when an unidentified guy was given the task to look for unattended children in a shopping mall, armed with only 100 lollipops. vulcanpost.com/1913/video-will-make-think-twice-see-child-alone/

Notice that swings & see-saw are considered rare find in Singapore outdoor playgrounds nowadays, unlike 30 to 40 years ago. The nearest see-saw that they can indulge themselves is at Clementi Mall food court play area. My kids had great fun swinging at the UK Farm in JB yesterday.

It is a busy time of the year where I need to search high and low for live shows of the cartoon character such as Smurfs, Thomas the train for my 5-year old girl. To obtain first class seat, it is a prerequisite to queue for hour, especially the popular Barney & friends show. It is also the time of the year where parents splurge so their little princess or prince has the opportunity to obtain a snapshot with the cartoon characters. www.singaporeplayground.com/2013/11/singapore-school-holidays-free-shows.html
