BreadTALK traded @ S$1.42 (-0.04, -2.7%) with 723 lots done on 23 Feb 2015 at 2.20pm. BreadTalk's Cheng Kay had already run road long time ago; it is now a prime target for shorts. Watch the key support @ S$1.38. BreadTALK's chart pattern reminds me of MTQ, prior to its downfall = plenty of meat on the plate. BreadTalk shares retreat on earnings disappointment ~ 18 Feb 2015 By Frankie Ho Shares of BreadTalk Group fell as much as 4.3% to their lowest in two months after the food and beverage group reported weaker earnings and cut its dividend. At 11:20am, the stock was down 2% at $1.49. Earlier, it reached $1.455, the lowest since Dec 26. Earnings for 4Q2014 fell 31% y-o-y to $3.8 million as higher operating expenses and taxes offset a 5.3% rise in revenue to $154.8 million. "The traditionally strong fourth-quarter revenue performance did not materialise due to softer than expected demand across all markets, especially Mainland China," the company said in its results statement. "Group margin was also compromised due to the intense competition in Singapore along with cost pressure on labour and rental," it said. The results bring its full-year results to $12.2 million, down 10.3%. "With a typically back-loaded set of results, BreadTalk’s disappointing last quarter took a toll on the group’s full-year results," OCBC Investment Research analyst Jodie Foo wrote in a note today. BreadTalk's current valuations are "stretched" as the stock trades at 35.1 times 2014 earnings, she said. The company declared a final dividend of one cent a share, down from 1.3 cents in 2013. With its interim payout of 0.5 cent, the total dividend for 2014 comes to 1.5 cents a share, compared with 1.8 cents for the previous year.

BT fundamental base on operating cash-flow, not EPS.
If one has money to buy entire BT, it's ROI is ~5.6X.
