no one can avoid the downside. Let the good company recover when the times come. Why fall off the cliff? oldman, There's a Chinese saying: 见好就收 = "Quit while you're ahead." Blumont's EW chart pattern already looked extremely toppish to me in mid-Sep, prior to the collapse on the 3rd of Oct.

Fall off in demand for soy bean from China / Japan? Abundant crop of supply in soy bean from soybean producing countries? Consumers switching taste buds from soy bean to other products (e.g. pork bellies?) Hoarders let go their soy bean stocks? Novice in TA but I see the price in fact bottomed from yr chart and is rising in line with MACD? Right / Wrong? Many years ago, I was in a bucket shop on soft commodities. Never forget the coffee bean, live cattles, live hogs and frozen pork bellies on Knight Rider system. If I am transported back in time to the same bucket shop, I will imagine that the live cattles & live hogs got tired of eating soy beans....lol. Sorry..Bro Zuolun..your chart brought back memories of pain. Soybeans — Fall off the cliff

Sorry..Bro Zuolun..your chart brought back memories of pain. pain, Main reason: Hedge funds have massive short positions on soybean futures...late-comers who shorted are "short-squeezed" and sitting on losses. You're right; soybean's chart indicates a technical rebound but when the dead cat bounce is done, the longterm downtrend prevails.
