Lian Beng — Head and Shoulders Formation, critical support @ S$0.67One of the Elliott Wave rules stated that Wave-3 cannot be the shortest wave. - Rule 1: Wave 2 cannot retrace more than 100% of Wave 1.
- Rule 2: Wave 3 can never be the shortest of the three impulse waves.
- Rule 3: Wave 4 can never overlap Wave 1.
Usually for commodities, Wave-5 will be the longest wave; while for stocks, Wave-3 will be the longest wave and a minimum target for Wave-5 is 100% of Wave-1. LBG is a company I am most familiar with. (Don't ask me, how).
Big boss is not highly educated (not even PSLE) but a shrewd businessman following his father's footsteps as a young boy in civil engineering (mainly roads & drains construction). Following a traditional chinese business style, LBG has a few subsidiaries in its arms in property development, construction, material supply (includes crane rental, readymix concrete supply, etc..), dormitory building/rental, etc.. The latest is selling 2nd hand prestigious cars.
Associated with many big bosses in property development and construction firms. Share holdings in LBG lies in the family among the brothers and sisters. Independent director of LBG includes the newly elected Potong Pasir MP (Sitoh Yipin). Blood relative (cousins, etc..) is ASL Marine bosses.
LBG is one of the last company to enter the property development scene but definitely the most aggressive. Centurion Properties (set up by former top stockbrokers), Oxley, Kim Seng Heng, Koh Brothers are business associates in properties development.
FA TA GF can at best be a guide for LBG's share direction. There were a lot of stale bulls at about $0.90++ holding this shares.
My 1 cts worth of opinion.

LBG sold away Midlink Plaza for $8.9 mil. recently. Big Boss has been accumulating at $0.34 upwards. Their construction jobs are moving in line. There should be periodic progress payments coming in. Now entering into property development in Australia big time. Though working cap is +ve, but it is not sufficient for large scale development. I will hazard a guess on significant volume, big boss needs to raise cash...I can be wrong and most of time I am wrong. Lol.

Kenjifm, I edited the title of your posting so that it just shows the name of the listed company. This will then be in line with the rest of the company threads here. Thanks. As for the Lian Beng, this is not a stock I follow as my focus is usually the small cap stocks or stocks that have crashed badly.

I laughed when I saw RNAV is $1.19 in the report. Seems like analyst being paid well to have a favourable report.
At the very least, give a ray of hope to those stale bulls.

An uptrend stock facing strong correction. The tape will give u a better view. IF 0.60 support does not reverse the situation, 0.575 will be valid with a strong down side.

. Hope the people around already got out as warned by Bro Zuolun & Kenji Kohai. BB has many chips under his sleeves besides cash. Yongnam looks & sounds good. $125 mil of steel order books look good too with additional contracts coming in. Recent results lost about 5 mil...project cost overruns. A little pain now...no worries? or needs true pain?

Brother Zuolun, Just started a small buy position on Lian Beng. I believed Cheng Kay forgot to "bring" his passport at the airport. Cautiously optimistic in my opinion.
