Brother Zuolun, Just started a small buy position on Lian Beng. I believed Cheng Kay forgot to "bring" his passport at the airport. Cautiously optimistic in my opinion. pain, Chartwise, it's confirmed that Cheng Kay Run Road...long time ago liao...Lian Beng's share price hit a new low @ S$0.49 yesterday 18 May 2015, it almost hit my TP @ S$0.485 projected on 6 Apr 2015. Thank you Bro Zuolun for the analysis of Lian Beng. You were right since your previous post in Oct 2014 then when you say Cheng Kay Run Road liao. Now please allow me to add some fire with your chart to Lian Beng: It is a down trend stock: 1) Price below all 4 Major SMA, Daily and Weekly. 2) Strong-Bearish ICHIMOKU indicators: Chikou Span below price and below Kumo Tenkan-Sen below Kijun-Sen Price below Kumo and below Tenkan-Sen Bro Zuolun, for Lian Beng, how to play the rebounce? At $ 0.505 it is about 128% downward extension. Is it a good risk-reward level to long and play the rebound? I observed that the rebound is getting weaker. Was the closing candle stick of 18th May 2015 quite buiilish? Brother Zuolun, Just started a small buy position on Lian Beng. I believed Cheng Kay forgot to "bring" his passport at the airport. Bro Zuolun, I saw the price swung rapidly from $0.515 to $0.48 in a flash of seconds and then swung back again to about $0.49. This phenomenon is peculiar as if there is an invisible hand trying to push down the price below the support $0.485 (in your chart), and someone else is pumping back up instantaneously. Piqued by this action, I tends to believe just maybe LBG BB is trying to support the price somehow. Hence, I put in a trade and done at $0.48. Let see how this develops. Cross fingers.. Bro Zuolun, Bayi indeed. LOL. The below chart summarized their actions. Your two charts showed clearly how they co-ordinated their push and pump actions. I worked in LBG previously for a couple of years. Hence, I am familiar with their management, staffs, contractors and projects including machineries and resources. Lian Beng Group is a share that I can be comfortable with on the BUY side knowing the inner workings. Brother Zuolun, Just started a small buy position on Lian Beng. Definitely gives a position conviction when one understands a company from inside and outside. That's great to hear.

Saw a blog post by (alias Tom Tom Tom) on Lian Beng Group on its FA valuations. I accepted his FA opinion on LBG. However, upon looking at Brother Zuolun's TA 'zhun ness', I accepted his TA opinion too and the trader part of me (bad, bad, bad) did a contra trade with cash profits today.

Care to share any opinion on Lian Beng with Datapulse? The investment is a little puzzling to me. sbr.com.sg/building-engineering/more-news/lian-beng-trims-proposed-datapulse-investment-73m

Roberto, LBG is diversifying out from its Construction business years ago. First of all, from a civil engrg contractor and building HDB, it went into property development. Prior to this, LBG teamed up with Manhattan Resources into coal mining business but it was loss making. Then after, LBG diversified into the ready-mix concrete business. Plans were made to list their ready-mix business (SinMix) and Lian Beng Engrg in Taiwan but was aborted. One year ago, LBG bought into 2nd car dealer (Vincar) selling 'atas' luxurious 2nd hand car. Why LBG bought into a 2nd hand car dealer? I can only guess that big boss prefers to get value for prestigious cars including Ferraris, Porsche and Lamborghinis. Now why LBG invests into Datapulse initially and divests partially? Similarly, I will make a guess too. One of his nephews James Ong is maintaining the IT systems for the whole LBG. Maybe, there are plans to diversify into these business as construction is a cyclical. Or another guess is previously, LBG is on good terms with the management of Scorpio East Entertainment (now known as KOP). Just maybe, LBG is thinking of diversifying into the Video Entertainment business but the in charge of previous Scorpio East had left already. Well too much guessing already...It will be easier if you attend the AGM and raises this question to the Directors themselves.

Really thankful for your thoughts. Always appreciate having a framework (no matter how shaky) to understand things in this world of possibilities.
