Good example of second-level thinking: "Consider this: We have put new restrictions on home and auto loans, which left people with no choice but to save more to afford the down payment for a car or a home. If people save, they can't consume, which has a multiplier effect that takes a big bite out of the GOP. Of course, that is an unintended consequence and was never part of the plan."

Singapore will be a land of millionaires by 2020, predicts report (17 Nov 2015) "Singapore HNWIs are expected to number 188,000- roughly 1 millionaire in 30 people. ... The study also noted that HNWI average wealth is largely indicative of a nation’s equality- the lower the average, the more evenly that wealth is distributed amongst others. Singapore currently holds the lowest average in all of Asia as average wealth stood at US$5.2m per HNWI." Correct me if I'm wrong, but I had the impression SG was already at the stage of having 1 in 5 millionaires? 1 in 30 doesn't seem quite right, unless excluding main residence.

My low impression of the general public service just sunk lower. Is the role of the Public Trustee's Office to make life difficult?

I often see the first Clementi guy, he's really good. Stayed for half an hour once just to listen to his music. Also the one dollar tissue song is quite catchy.
