I find Yahoo Finance one of the best sites for local stocks. I especially like their interactive charting tool as they give the complete historical data for all the stocks. Also, it is has a very intuitive user interface and one can add in the most common technical indicators. For example: finance.yahoo.com/echarts?s=SIA1.F#symbol=sia1.f;range=my;compare=;indicator=dividend+ud+volume+macd;charttype=area;crosshair=on;ohlcvalues=0;logscale=off;source=undefined;After I have identified a fundamental stock, I use charting and basic technical analysis to decide on my entry points. Every stock to me has a trading range and I rather buy at the bottom of the trading range. For stock quotes, I use a few of our local brokers' trading platforms as these have certainly improved significantly over the years. Also, many of brokers provide multi market quotes and as time goes by, I may be expanding my horizons beyond just Singapore stocks. Of course, more importantly, I don't have to pay for these tools.
