ACRA warns of fake entity asking companies to verify details

I had a letter from them as well. As is my policy, I always go online to check first. When I realised that they were not a government organisation, I tore up their letter. Quite audacious to appear formal and ask for details and at the same time to threaten. In general, I don't trust people and I certainly don't trust companies.
