Bro Zuolun, the links tell us all things are not well. I better be more careful 
Things are getting cheaper, my wife just came back from Giant and show me the big prawns that she bought from Giant at $19.80/kg. When I was helping my father a fish monger many years ago, such prawn can cost $ 25/kg during CNY.
Last night bought a Orange tree for my mother, only $48 for a 2+ footer without bargain. Last time that size can easily cost $68 and above.
A lot of deflationary pressure around. , Times are bad for retail / small-business owners. Yesterday, I bought some CNY goodies on special offer at "buy 1 get 1 free". 350g Almond biscuit 杏仁饼 x 2 = S$4.95 300g Love letters X 2 = S$5.95 200g Mini-spring-rolls with hea-bee-hiam X 2 = S$5.05  I bought 1kg of big scallops @ S$24.20 at NTUC（used to sell S$33 - S$38).  |

Hehe I like! I told my wife don't bargain when buying CNY stuff when price are already reasonable so stall owners can make some decent money  |

I told my wife don't bargain when buying CNY stuff when price are already reasonable so stall owners can make some decent money Most of the popular supermarkets are selling (CTN) Tiger Beer - Canned 24S 323ML at S$47.50 in Singapore, islandwide. One TCM cum dried goods shop at my neighbourhood is selling it at S$42 per carton yet not many people keen to buy at a discount of S$5.50 like past few years. 2 weeks ago, I saw the workers unloaded the Tiger Beer from a big lorry and stacked them all at the front of that shop. When I walked passed that shop on Sunday 15 Feb 2015, I noticed many cartons of Tiger Beer still 'tiao du'. I believe people are generally buying less and selectively, this CNY.  |
