Singapore is not included in the social progress ranking 2014 because there are data gaps in the some of the measured categories... Not sure why the chaps can miss the data. they are simple one such as Nutrition and basic medical care, water and sanitation, access to basic knowledge and access to advance education. Quite sure Singapore is comparable to a lot of countries out there. 1. New Zealand 45. Malaysia 56. Philippines 59. Thailand 88. Indonesia 90. China 102. In China, this video describes that the Chinese workers are paying the price for some Western and American companies to get rich in electronics such as cell phones etc but no company was named. The recent foxconn suicide could be related but there was no report that it was caused by Benzene when 18 of its workers jumped from its building in 2010. It was said to be related to sweatshop working conditions where workers could not stand the working condition but for that, the company denied. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foxconn_suicidesGuess it would be hard to pin point who is responsible for the cancer this Bloombergebusiness report talked about one of the 50 Samsung workers took Samsung to court and revealed that Samsung was suspected to be related. www.businessweek.com/printer/articles/194253-samsungs-war-at-home
