I have been buying lots of stuff through the internet over the years. Every now and then, I do get dud products. This is one of them. This is how it looks like and the marketing material that came with it:
- Material: ABS + Electronic element.
- No fast-spinning blades and safe for children.
- Easy to Clean: No awkward grilles and blades.
- Feel the cool wind and enjoy a healthy life.
- Works very differently from conventional fans.
- It uses air multiplier technology to draw in air and amplify it 15 times, producing an uninterrupted stream of smooth air with no unpleasant buffeting.
When I received it, I stripped it apart and all I bought was a piece of plastic with a PC fan in it. Have a laugh on me!
Now, I place it in front of me to remind myself not to believe everything I read.

My 100,000 mAH Powerbank finally arrived from Bankee website (China). As this product is considered to be a restricted item, I engaged Bankee to buy on my behalf from Taobao SEA and shipped to me. (Powerbank cannot be sent by air) Why did I purchase this powerbank?
This item is from Taobao SEA and costs about RMB28 and very affordable(value). There are 4000++ reviews on this item or related which led to believe that the good reviews cannot be fake. For Taobao SEA, there is a further review for the buyer to comment on his purchase which can be 3 months later.
With the potential of good 'value', many positive reviews and further good comments, I placed the order.
On receiving the item, it was way too light and can charge about 2 times for a handphone and Not > 7 - 8 times as claimed. Though the amount is about S$20, but it is still a dud product.
I am very amazed at the ability of the seller to obtain so many fake good reviews and the warranty card guarantee for repairs, etc.. A scam is a scam. These powerbanks are on sale in Aliexpress and Taobao SEA and Alibaba Group did not do anything to take down the dud items.
Well, a lesson learnt.
