I have been collecting more of these shares as I like to invest in established entrepreneurs. I believe that such entrepreneurs have both the passion and resources to transform companies and their industries. Do note that my timeframe for such investments is usually 10 years or more... and do also note that this company has very poor liquidity. Tong Kooi Ong ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tong_Kooi_Ong ) is a well known entrepreneur who owns the Edge publications and has a long history in property related companies. It will be interesting to see what he does with 3cnergy, which owns HSR. On the downside, it has been losing money for a few years and its current share price is much higher than its net assets. Tong Kooi Ong co-wrote an interesting article in the property section of the Edge Singapore this weekend stating that home prices are set to fall in the 2nd half of 2014. I also like the honesty in which he wrote the chairman's report last year: infopub.sgx.com/FileOpen/3Cnergy%20Limited%20Annual%20Report%202013).ashx?App=Prospectus&FileID=20800I have intentionally refrained from commenting any further as I currently own around 2.6% of this company.

A property alliance to take on the big boys - 1st July 2014 The slowing property market has nudged four mid-sized property agencies - SLP International, OrangeTee, HSR International and Dennis Wee Realty - to form an alliance which will rival the two largest players in the market, ERA Realty and PropNex Realty.
Following the alliance, the four agencies will have a strength of almost 6,000 agents combined, overshooting ERA's 5,700 and PropNex's 5,600.
