Not related to any supplier nor the web portal for selling the following goods.. just found something good and wrote a review to share with the forumers.. hope you will like it.. I purchase a lot nowadays from Q0010, the sgmarket portal. I opened an account with them and use either paypal or credit card to pay my goods which are delivered to my door step either by their own transport agent or through SingPost. The transport agent will charge around $3 to $8 per delivery or sometimes free, depending on the amount of purchase. The delivery is quite fast, usually within 3 days if one uses their transport agent. On one occasion, I was surprised that a washing machine was delivered to my doorstep within 6 hours after I placed an order. Delivered through SingPost are usually free except one may have to wait for at least 2 weeks. On one occasion, an wireless mouse was sent to me from a place about 5 Km away, the delivery took about 1 month. So far, I have ordered more than 100 items from Q0010, not one single miss. The following items were purchased a few months ago, then the price was checked to be among the best in market. The situation could be different now.. 1. This digital timeswitch cost was costing more than $20/= for local market..it was $12/= skyjuiceiswater.blogspot.sg/2014/04/a-review-of-economical-digital-time.html2. This digital ampere clamp meter could have cost easily over $30/= and it was $18/= skyjuiceiswater.blogspot.sg/2014/04/a-review-on-acdc-digital-clamp-meter.html3. Not sure how much it would cost in market for this high resolution web cam but about $20/= from Q0010 skyjuiceiswater.blogspot.sg/2014/04/a-review-of-cost-effective-and.html4. This SSD cost around $160 with free 8GB stick; then the market was selling around $200/=.. now found Samsung 840 selling about the same price] skyjuiceiswater.blogspot.sg/2014/05/transcend-ssd340-review.html5. This Omron blood pressure meter cost around $95/=. I bought a Osim with lesser functions costing me more than $110/= skyjuiceiswater.blogspot.sg/2014/06/review-on-omron-blood-pressure-meter.html6. This was one cleaning tools I was finding for sometime. A equivalent one will cost more than $120/=. Most sold locally are hand pumps which does not have the pressure. This one is cheap because there is some design defect which can be overcome easily..cost around $45/= skyjuiceiswater.blogspot.sg/2014/06/wyatt-card-32l-battery-operated-water.html7. This unique 4 function clock from IKEA cost less than $5/=. We like it very much skyjuiceiswater.blogspot.sg/2014/07/unique-clock-with-4-functions.html8. I did not do a review on the washing machine that was delivered within 6 hours.. list.qoo10.sg/item/SAMSUNG-LOWEST-IN-SINGAPORE-SAMSUNG-7-5KG/414529756?selectedOptions=If you have some good and cheap or cost effective products that we can all use, please introduce them to us... You must be one of their top customers! I used their service a few times and I agree with you that they deliver promptly. I have been buying a lot more from aliexpress and usually, out of 10 orders, one of these orders will not arrive. I think it is the delivery that is the issue. With Aliexpress, the supplier does not receive the cash until you have confirmed that you have received the package. Hence, they are at the mercy of the consumers. If the consumer is not honest, the suppliers will not get paid. I feel sorry for the suppliers as most of these folks are based in China and they must be really struggling to make a living as many of us will go for the cheapest cost. I think they are let down by the delivery company. In the past, all the letters that are sent to my address are delivered correctly. Nowadays, I get letters that are for the neighbours as well. Hence, I know that some of my letters probably end up in the wrong address as well. I am sure some of my packages have been lost this way. Yes, I think it is very unfair for the suppliers to have to pay for the ineffectiveness of the local delivery companies. I think the issue will surface one of these days.... As for the best ecommerce site, I think no one comes close to Amazon.com. Delivery is through an international delivery company and it is always very timely.... usually 2 weeks for a package sent from the US. Best of all, delivery is usually free for orders over US$120. Not sure if this is the right place to post this. It is with regard to my recent online shopping experience with Qoo10, Aliexpress and iherb. I was inspired by oldman's posts and decided to try out the various online shopping platforms.
I ordered a foot spa massager from Qoo10 under group purchase and received the good within a few days. I believe it is stocked in Singapore. Very pleasant experience and good price.
I ordered some fish oil from iherb. Postage charge is only S$4. The fish oil plus the deliverable charge add up is about S$40 cheaper than if I were to order from Amazon.com. The shipment cost for Amazon is much higher though the price of the fish oil is lower The order is on the way and tracking of the package is very easy. No problem so far.
I ordered a face spa from an online retailer in China through Aliexpress. It has been more than one month already and I still have not received the good. I tried to use the tracking number provided to trace the package at China Post Air Mail website but were not successful. hence, I initiated the open dispute process. The retailer replied within a day and part of the message is "Since the air cargo capacity of China Post has been impacted due to a high volume of items, there might be a delayed shipment of some items or the shipping company cannot update the info timely. Also dear, we have just extended the delivery time for you, it still have time to confirm receipt, there is no risk for you, so please kindly help us to wait for more days."
I will wait for another week and see what happen.

Hi Web, I used to order from Aliexpress (English version of Taobao) till Taobao SEA is open up to residents in South East Area in YR 2013. Aliexpress will be able to fulfill most of the items that you can find in other websites like Qoo10, Amz, etc.. However, there are certain restrictions especially on battery related, medicine drugs related items, etc.. which will not be allowed on air flight itself. Only the delivery is slow. Some items are considered as special package and will take at least 20++ days to clear their customs unless it is packed as a gift item. Similar to Aliexpress, Taobao is facing lots of fake products issue. I bought a dud powerbank before from Taobao and have no way to return it economically. Qoo10 is a good online market website from Yahoo and somehow, the stocks are with SG merchants / warehouse and thus you are able to get the items fast. For Taobao SEA, the price of items will be much lower than most of the online market website. However, there is a airfreight charge of Y48 or Y39 per kg for couriering to SG. Good planning and items combining skills to maximise courier weight are essential. Alibaba website is more for traders in bulk orders buying and selling. This is about it for online market. Happy online purchasing. Not sure if this is the right place to post this. It is with regard to my recent online shopping experience with Qoo10, Aliexpress and iherb. Hi pain, Thanks fro sharing. I will try out Taobao SEA when I have something in mind to purchase. BTW, from what I read and my experience so far, iherb is a great place to buy health supplements and baby food etc. From the review I read online, the pharmaceutical grade fish oil I bought is of a higher quality and lower price than what my colleague get from GNC. For those who are interested, here is the link to the review: www.leanitup.com/review-the-complete-fish-oil-buyers-guide-26-top-products-reviewed/Hi Web, I used to order from Aliexpress (English version of Taobao) till Taobao SEA is open up to residents in South East Area in YR 2013. Ha ha. Everytime there is a delay in the shipment, they also call me dear! Must be standard lingo! Sometimes, packages can take 2 months to reach. Hence, you need a bit of patience. Just make sure that you ask the vendor to extend the guarantee period for receiving the goods. One thing I like about Aliexpress is that the merchant is responsible to ensure that you receive the goods. Frankly, nowadays, I get a lot of wrong mail through Singpost. These are mail directed to my neighbours but somehow landed in my letterbox. So, I can assume that many of my letters too get sent to the wrong address. Out of 10 packages that I order, usually one will get lost in the post. With Aliexpress, you simply state that you did not receive the package and they will either refund you or resend. Imagine if you were not honest and said that you did not receive when you did, they too have to refund or resend. I really pity the vendors who sell through Aliexpress. Received the Norwegian fish oil supplement I ordered from iherb yesterday. very good shopping experience.
For Aliexpress, vendor has extended more than 40 days - hope I don't have to wait that long for my face spa. Not a very good experience when the item you ordered that so long to arrive!

Received the face spa ordered through Aliexpress today . It took 44 days! Case closed. I thought I can put this behind me. I wrote a review to say that it took me 44 days to receive it. I did not give any negative comments and commented that the product is what it claims to be. However, because I gave a rating of 3. The vendor has sent me many messages requested me to up the rating to 4. I thought I should give a fair comment and review as I expect others to give fair comments and reviews to benefit future potential buyers. I have been ignoring the many messages and requests as, if I change it, it may give the wrong impression that all the customers are happy. In fact, because of this experience, I have not made any other purchase from Aliexpress but have since made another order from iherb as I have been quite happy with it. If you have any view and advice, please let me know. Perhaps there are other considerations which I have overlooked. Thank you in advance.

You are right that the vendors will pester you if you give them a rating below 4. Hence, one must look at the ratings with a pinch of salt. Reminds me of the tripadvisor website. I made a negative comment about one of the hotels that I stayed in and the manager then replied stating that this was not the case and he did this and that. When I wanted to respond to his reply, I was not able to as tripadvisor does not allow users to respond to any of the hotel's reply. So at the end of the day, we must realise that these websites serve the vendors and not the users as they get their money from the vendors and not us. Yes, it is all to do with the flow of money..... as they say, follow the money and you will know how the company is likely to operate. Received the face spa ordered through Aliexpress today . Oldman, Thank you for your input. It makes me feel better as apart from hotel and flight bookings, I am relatively new to making online purchases.
