Predicted fall 10-15% from $72,609 ---> 53K to 65K still high for cat A. Cat A OMV ~ $16K. So coe/omv ratio still > 3X. Still expensive IMO.

me200, I agree. COE still too expensive. My guess is that the COE for cat B will fall more than cat A because more people will be rushing to get those cars in Cat A that will move to Cat B early next year. We will know tomorrow afternoon.

The plastic on my wife's car remote control was worn out so badly that one can see the switches beneath it. The distributor wanted to charge me $160 for the replacement and so I went to a few shops that duplicate keys as they also sell these car remote controls. They quoted $70.... still quite a bit to pay for just the housing of the car remote control given that the electronics will simply be moved across. The pricing from both the distributor and the shops is just for the housing of the remote control. Then, I went to the internet and found the exact remote control housing for just $10. This arrived a few days ago and the quality is just the same. Most probably, everyone buys from one manufacturer based in China anyway. Fixing it took a bit longer as I was not familiar with the unique spring mechanism and there were no instructions. But after 15 min toying around, I figured it out and the remote control was replaced. Amazing the difference in pricing from $10 to $70 to $160 depending on where you get the replacement. I guess it is getting tougher for retailers if more consumers are like me! www.aliexpress.com/item/3-Buttons-FOB-Blank-FLIP-Remote-Key-Case-For-PEUGEOT-Citroen/731710495.htmlHi oldman, thank you for the lobang. Quite satisfied with the value for money purchases from Aliexpress.com, except that the lengthy shipping duration really test one's patience. Placed an order (6 items) on Oct 24, received the last item (angry bird remote control helicopter) on 15 Nov.

Candy188, your delivery time frame is not bad! They normally ship through China Post and I have a number of packages that is taking more than 2 months! Apparently, China Post simply cannot cope with the demand. Many of my recent packages have also been lost. Something that has not happened to me before.
Frankly, I really pity those sellers. They cannot receive any money until you have confirmed receipt of the package. If China Post loses the package, they will not get paid. If SingPost loses the package, they will be get paid. If you are not honest and say that you have not received the package, they too will not get paid. What a business model. If I were the seller, I will decline doing this type of business.

 What a business model. If I were the seller, I will decline doing this type of business. Concur with your viewpoint that customers are the ultimate winners. Personally, I prefer Amazon.com, free shipping charge for purchases of US$125 to Singapore. Swift delivery & items receive in tip top condition.

Sad to say that it is very common to see Singapore registered cars speeding on NS Highway.. To prove their superiority?!

Most people would have felt that it was a waste considering the immense money that evaporated in air .... Do pardon my ignorance as I am not in tune with car prices.. Heard that it runs in million from my hubby... . Despite possessing a Guess bag & a diamond necklace as birthday presents from my friends on my 21st birthday, I truly do not realise that Guess belongs to branded stuff at that point in time. Perhaps the attachment to material things is the reason people in developed countries are not happy despite enjoying the wealth & luxury in life.
