Thank you very Bro Zuolun for you have saved me twice from this sinking ship ! 感恩大哥救了我. sptl123, 上楼爬楼梯,下楼坐电梯。(Going up slowing by climbing the stairs, coming down quickly by taking the elevator.) For NOL, you only did the long-trades and made some profits. Have you ever thought of playing the intermediate bearish trend reversal or the short-trades immediately after you had successfully run road on all your long positions? The profit on the short-trades in NOL as of now; anywhere at or near the peak on 28 Apr 2015 to the last closing price on 5 Jun 2015 should be much faster (S$1.20 - S$0.95 = S$0.25 or 20.8%). Based on NOL's chart pattern, price action and trading volume; the major cheng kay appeared to have 'goreng' the +ve APL logistics sales news by pumping up NOL since mid-Nov 2014 and then dumped the stock in end-Apr 2015, prior to the -ve 1Q 2015 qtrly earnings results released on 14 May 2015. NOL ~ Bear Flag Breakout, interim TP S$0.93, next TP S$0.735NOL closed with a black marubozu @ S$0.95 (-0.02, -2.1%) with 5.81m shares done on 5 Jun 2015. Immediate support @ S$0.93, immediate resistance @ S$0.965. No Bro Zuolun and I hope you did. I recently die pain pain with losses in some short-trades due to poor Kung Fu and I am not ready mentally then to perform any short trade. However I learned yet another something valuable. Looking at the links relating to NOL in your last post, oh ! your really did a lot of home work.

The major cheng kays made at least 30% profits (X2) on NOL by "goreng" / "stir-fry" news, especially on the APL Logistics unit but to-date, nothing concrete had materialised, yet. sptl123, NOL is a standard example of a modus operandi practised by most cheng kays doing a pump and dump job on any stock in the Singapore stock market, with a timeframe of 6 months or 2 qtrs. If you're able to read my NOL charts (daily and weekly), it's not difficult to understand how the BBs move NOL's share price by > 30% (up and down) with their lips, while the fundamentals of the company remains the same. sptl123, 上楼爬楼梯,下楼坐电梯。(Going up slowing by climbing the stairs, coming down quickly by taking the elevator.) Bro Zuolun, you are so right ! By the way, it is so amusing; all the up and down are of the Fibonacci Level; the 61.8% retracement and the 138.2% extension ! Only if I know early..... Well late better than never; next time I hoot big big when they goreng a stock~ up or now ! Do cheng kays follow Fibonacci Level or Finonacci Level predict cheng kays's actions ?? - It should be the cheng kays following the Fibonacci Retracement levels, not the other way round.
I always emphasize the importance of drawing your own charts because technical analysis is an art and science; beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If you don't know yourself well and use other people's charts to trade stocks; what you see in their charts may not be what you want to see. There's more than one way to skin a cat:- Fibonacci Retracement
- Bearish Gartley
- Three Dead Crosses
- Support and Resistance
- Linear Regression
- Ichimoku Clouds
- Volume Spread Analysis (VSA)

sptl123, 不止七大法门。 Read: "The 36 strategies of the Chinese for financial trader" (金融交易员的三十六计) "This is a book about trading techniques. It includes specific methods for trading the market, including reading the order line information, understanding the behavior of market makers and integrating news events into price activity. This is not a book about charting or technical analysis, although many of the strategies are based on these trading approaches. We assume you are familiar with the basics of technical analysis and the major indicators so we do not explain these in great detail." sptl123Do cheng kays follow Fibonacci Level or Finonacci Level predict cheng kays's actions ?? - Fibonacci Retracement is one of the acceptable tools widely used by most chartists; including the cheng kays in the Singapore stock market.

sptl123, Follow-up on charts to self-check cheng kay's action (b4 and after the events). Fun on technical analysis: NOL's cheng kay triggered the stop-loss level (61.8% Fibonacci retracement) of many gullible bulls with black Mee Rebus on 9 Jun 2015. NOL ~ Bear Flag Breakout, TP S$0.735NOL had a long black marubozu and traded @ S$0.86 (-0.07, -7.5%) with 13m shares done on 9 Jun 2015 at 1120 hrs. Immediate support @ S$0.83, immediate resistance @ S$0.93.

www.channelnewsasia.com/news/business/singapore/neptune-orient-lines-no/1995044.html?cx_tag=similar#cxrecs_sNeptune Orient Lines: No decision made on potential sale by Temasek The Wall Street Journal had reported on Jul 16 that the state investor was looking to divest its 65-per-cent stake in the Singaporean shipping company. POSTED: 20 Jul 2015 09:56 UPDATED: 20 Jul 2015 10:24 SINGAPORE: Amid media reports that it has been put up for sale by majority owner Temasek Holdings, Neptune Orient Lines said no decision has been made on any such transaction, and there is "no assurance" that a sale will take place. In a statement issued on the Singapore Exchange website late on Sunday (Jul 19), the shipping company said it "has not made any decision with respect to, and has not entered into any agreement for, a potential sale of the company". It added: "There is no assurance that any agreement for the sale of the company will be entered into." The Wall Street Journal on Jul 16 quoted sources as saying that state investor Temasek was looking to divest its 65-per-cent stake in NOL. The WSJ put the company's market capitalisation at US$1.7 billion, or S$2.3 billion. In the NOL statement, issued at 11.53pm on Sunday, the shipping firm's board advised shareholders and investors to "exercise caution" when dealing in its shares and other securities. "The company has a duty to consider its options to maximise shareholder value as part of its conduct of normal business," it said. "The company is focused on returning its core liner business to sustainable growth and profitability."

Thanks for your insights and have a great weekend regards odie odie, NOL is likely to move higher high to hit S$1.10 and to retest the last high @ S$1.20, b4 it crashes down, again. Based on the trading strategy of using the 20d SMA and the 200d SMA, the signal given is to go long and play the "chicken run". NOL (weekly) ~ Trading in a downward sloping channel
